- Campus Recruitments
In the very year of its inception IIM Sambalpur has taken big strides in developing a culture of industry oriented development of its students. This is well reflected by the fact that the very first batch of the institute was able to secure a 100% summer placement record to stand out amongst its peers. The Campus Recruitment process has three components:
- Summer Placements:
The 8-12 week period after the completion of the first year of the PGP program has been earmarked by the institute for its students to intern at some of the most prestigious organizations and develop practical insights into the theory that has been taught so far.
The student fraternity strives to make significant contributions to the organization it is associated with and experience the dynamic work environment of the globalized world economy.
- Lateral Placements:
This is an alternate channel of recruitment that the institute provides to the prospective recruiters to hire experienced and polished candidates for niche non-entry level roles. 20 months of relevant work experience has been fixed as the floor limit for the students to opt for this channel.
- Final Placements:
The Final Placement drive at IIM Sambalpur aims to unleash the highest order of industry-ready talent into the corporate circles. With a pool of appropriately chiseled professionals, IIM Sambalpur expects to become the preferred industry destination for Campus Talent Acquisition programs.
