Academic Profile
Dr Sourabh Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the area of Operations Management at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur. Before joining IIM Sambalpur, he was a full-time faculty in the Operations and Supply Chain Management area at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Dehradun. He holds Ph.D. degree from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in the area of Operations and Supply Chain Management. He is an engineering graduate in Mechanical Engineering. He received M. Tech degree in Industrial and Production Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra. His research interest includes supply chain management, energy management, risk analysis, operational excellence through disruptive technologies, and Six-Sigma. He is a member of the Production and Operation Management Society.
